Campers tackle mission contracts with specific goals and objectives, from achieving stable orbits and planetary landings to building reusable spacecraft and space stations, all while troubleshooting hilarious (and explosive!) failures just like real engineers.

In a collaborative twist, students share their favorite missions with the class, inspiring others, swapping tips, and celebrating epic successes. Cadet Alpha programs, including Alpha Kerbal 1 & 2, are immersive 4-5 day experiences that dive deep into a single space-related topic. They are ideal for students who want to enjoy the excitement of Space Voyage Summer Camp but may not be ready for (or interested in) the full Space Station Simulation, or who have a strong passion for one specific area of exploration.
